【防疫公告】因應COVID-19疫情,本校所有課程即日起維持遠距教學到期末

一、本措施依教育部「校園因應『嚴重特殊傳染性肺炎』(COVID-19)疫情暫停實體課程實施標準」(https://covid19.ntnu.edu.tw/news_detailV2.php?newsid=216)辦理。

二、考量近日疫情發展,本校所有課程即日起維持遠距教學到期末,並依以下說明辦理:

(一)期末考請儘量採線上方式辦理。有關線上測驗與評量方式,可參考教學發展中心提供的指引(https://ctld.ntnu.edu.tw/distance_teaching)。

(二)無法進行遠距教學之實驗、實習、實作課程,請妥善安排學生使用實驗室及實習之時段,課程進行務必落實佩戴口罩與保持安全社交距離等防疫作為。

(三)如有校外實習課程,請依「大專校院110學年度因應嚴重特殊傳染性肺炎防疫管理指引」(https://cpd.moe.gov.tw/page_two.php?id=35148)辦理。

(四)遠距教學期間,教師可視需求進入教室進行課程錄製或同步教學活動。

三、教務處原先各項需透過授課教師、導師、指導教授、系所及其主管等親簽之文件,包含休學、輔雙等臨櫃業務,改採變通方式辦理。學生得透過e-mail附帶已填妥之相關表單及/或檔案,寄送該表單給老師及承辦單位,以老師及承辦單位同意之e-mail取代簽名後,再由申請學生將e-mail轉寄所屬教務單位承辦同仁;惟仍須依各項申請規定之截止時間辦理。

四、碩博士生學位考試得以視訊方式進行,惟仍請依本校學位授予暨研究生學位考試辦法規定,經系、所務或學位學程事務會議通過,並應全程錄影存檔。

五、110學年度第2學期論文定稿繳交暨領取畢業證書截止期限為111年8月31日,相關資訊請參考教務處網站「畢業專區」。

【Pandemic Announcement】Academic Affairs COVID-19 Measures –All courses maintain online up to the end of this semester

NTNU COVID-19 Pandemic Guidelines for Academic Affairs

1.This guideline is based on the “Guidelines for School In-Person Class Suspension Due to COVID-19 Pandemic” (https://covid19.ntnu.edu.tw/news_detailV2.php?newsid=216) announced by the Ministry of Education.

2.To switch to online instruction, instructors should follow the guidelines below:

(1) For final exams, we would encourage all courses to switch to online formats. For support on online testing and assessment, please refer to the guidelines provided by NTNU CTLD(Center for Teaching and Learning Development).

(2) For laboratory works, internships, and practicums that cannot be conducted online, course assistants should make the necessary arrangements for students to use the laboratory or other spaces. Masks should be worn and social distancing maintained at all times during such courses.

(3) Off-campus internship courses should follow “Guidelines for the Novel Coronavirus Pneumonia Epidemic Prevention in the 110 Academic Year of Colleges and Universities”

(4) During the two weeks of online instruction, faculty may make use of university classrooms for course video recording or synchronous online instruction purposes.

3.Applications for suspension of studies, and declaration of minor or double major that need to be submitted in person or require the signature of instructors, advisors, thesis/dissertation advisors or department chairs, will be eligible for discretionary processing. Students may email the completed application form to their professors and university offices, and forward confirmation replies from these individuals or offices to the Office of Academic Affairs in lieu of their respective signatures. Please note that all applications must still abide by their respective deadlines.

4.Master’s and doctoral degree examination may be conducted via video conferencing. However, this must receive approval from their respective departmental meetings in accordance with “NTNU Degree Conferral and Graduate Degree Exam Regulations”, and the exam must be recorded in its entirety.

5.The deadline for thesis/dissertation submission and obtaining diploma is August 31st, 2022 for the Spring Semester of the 110th Academic Year. Please visit “Graduation” in the Office of Academic Affairs website for more information.

6.Faculty members in need of any technical or software related support for their online instruction are advised to contact NTNU Campus Online (https://www.co.ntnu.edu.tw/index.php/en/homepage-english/).

7.These guidelines will be modified as CDC or the Ministry of Education make any new changes. Please follow our latest announcements in NTNU Bulletin and Office of Academic Affairs website closely for any new updates.
