【Event Highlights】 International Meetings at the College of Sports and Recreation✨

On May 23, 2026, the College of Sports and Recreation held a series of international meetings alongside the international conference organized by our Graduate Institute of Sport, Leisure and Hospitality Management. Through these meetings with our partner schools, the College explored various opportunities for collaboration and further expanded its international academic partnerships.🙌

🇮🇩 College-level Partner School – Universitas Negeri Malang
Following their previous visit in 2023, Dean Sapto Adi and Vice Dean Kurniati Rahayuni visited our College once again to discuss the possibility of short-term faculty and staff exchange programs. They also shared information about the international conferences to be hosted by their university this August and October, warmly welcoming and encouraging our faculty members and students to participate.

🇺🇸 College-level Partner School – University of South Carolina
This meeting with Dean, Dr. Michael Sagas, followed up on discussions from the online meeting held in March regarding the renewal of dual-degree programs and student exchange agreements. Both institutions also expressed hopes to provide additional opportunities for short-term study visits and academic conferences for students from both colleges.

🇬🇧 University-level Partner School – University of Birmingham
Through discussions and exchanges of ideas between faculty members from both institutions, our College plans to further promote academic collaboration and joint research projects with the University of Birmingham with Dr. Shushu Chen, with the hope of strengthening meaningful exchanges between faculty members and students of both sides.

🇯🇵 College-level Partner School – Toyo University
After signing the student exchange agreement in November 2025, both institutions used this meeting to confirm and discuss the details of administrative procedures. The first round of student selection is scheduled to begin this September, and both universities look forward to encouraging active student participation in the exchange program.

📣Through these international meetings, our College hopes to further enhance the global visibility, expand opportunities for faculty members and students to connect with outstanding scholars worldwide, and establish long-term and diverse international collaboration networks.
