【Event Highlights】 Visit from Michigan State University and The Ohio State University
On May 19, 2026, College of Sports and Recreation was delighted to welcome scholars from Michigan State University and The Ohio State University for an academic exchange and discussion.Professor Jackie Goodway and Professor Sue Sutherland visited our college and met with Dean Tzyy-Yuang Shiang and Department Chair Yu-Kai Chang from the Department of Physical Education and Sports Sciences (PESS). 
During the meeting, the participants discussed the potential collaboration on short-term study programs, while also exchanging ideas on each institution’s academic strengths. In addition, both sides shared perspectives on joining international academic organizations such as AKA to stay connected with the latest developments in kinesiology, the upcoming AISEP conference hosted by PESS this year, and the promotion of our GPE program.
The discussion was engaging and inspiring, and both sides look forward to further strengthening academic exchange and building a close and lasting partnership in the future.
