Welcoming a Short-Term Visiting Scholar from Lithuanian Sports University

 

The College of Sports and Recreation is pleased to welcome Dr. Antanas Ūsas from our partner institution, Lithuanian Sports University, for a short-term visit. During his visit, Dr. Ūsas will engage in academic exchanges with faculty members across the College.

 

To warmly welcome his visit, Professor Chih-Fu Cheng from the Department of Physical Education and Sports Sciences represented the College in presenting a commemorative gift to Dr. Ūsas. Dr. Ūsas has long prepared for this visit and plans to discuss potential research collaborations with our faculty in areas such as sport management, operations, and customer service. With the support of our faculty, he will also meet with research teams and students, experience Woodball, and visit a professional basketball team during his stay.

 

Dr. Ūsas will be with us for one week, and we sincerely invite our faculty members and students to take this opportunity to interact and exchange ideas with this international scholar. We look forward to further strengthening the partnership between our College and Lithuanian Sports University and continuing to expand our engagement with the global research community.
