【Event Highlights】
Major League Baseball (MLB) represents the highest level of professional baseball in the world. On December 16, we were honored to welcome two distinguished professionals to the College of Sports and Recreation: Mr. Matt (Ming-Sheng) Chan, Director of the Sports Performance Department of the San Francisco Giants and a proud NTNU alumnus, and Mr. Bryson Nakamura, Head of Major League Performance and Data Integration Strategy for the Miami Marlins.⚾✨
During their week-long visit, the two experts will engage with our faculty members and students through academic exchange and discussions on sports science collaboration. This visit provides a valuable opportunity to gain deeper insights into how MLB organizations integrate sports science, performance strategies, and data analytics, while also strengthening the connection between academic learning and professional practice.🧐
📢In addition, our guests will share their expertise, experience, and perspectives at a forum this Saturday (December 20). Faculty members and students who are interested are warmly invited to join us and take part in this inspiring exchange. (Please refer to the link for event details.) 👀
