【Event Highlights】
On November 11, 2025, the College of Sports and Recreation had a wonderful meeting with Prof. Li-Shan Chou, Chair of the Department of Health and Kinesiology at Purdue University, one of NTNU’s key partner institutions.Dean Tzyy-Yuang Shiang, along with Prof. Yu-Kai Chang, Chair of the Department of Physical Education and Sports Sciences, and Prof. Tsung-Min Hung, met with Prof. Chou to discuss the potential for establishing a dual degree program between our two universities.
In 2023 and 2024, Prof. Chou was invited by NTNU’s Department of Physical Education and Sports Sciences and Department of Sport and Kinesiology to give academic speech, providing valuable insights into the field of biomechanics and strengthening connections between our faculty and students.
Although this visit focused on academic collaboration rather than research sharing, both sides engaged in a meaningful discussion on the framework and planning of possible dual-degree and exchange opportunities. We look forward to further collaboration that will offer our students cross-cultural academic experiences, broaden their horizons, and enhance their global competitiveness.
