[Event Highlights] Visit from Nihon University College of Sports Sciences
On October 31, 2025, we were delighted to welcome our college-level partner, the College of Sports Sciences, Nihon University (Japan), for an academic exchange visit.Professor Hidematsu Hiyoshi from Nihon University met with Dean Tzyy-Yuang Shiang, Prof. Po-Hsiu Lin, Prof. Li-Kang Chi, and Prof. Ho-Seng Wang from NTNU’s College of Sports and Recreation. Prof. Yugun Riku from Nihon University’s Distance Learning Division also joined the meeting to discuss potential collaboration in distance education. 
The visit served as an opportunity to greet our new Dean and to continue the close relationship between the two institutions. Both sides exchanged updates on the second NTNU student currently participating in the exchange program at Nihon University, discussing their learning experiences and the overall progress of the collaboration.
By maintaining regular communication and refining short-term exchange opportunities, both colleges aim to build stronger cooperation frameworks that will further support future exchange students and international cooperation. 
Since the signing of our college-level agreement, the College of Sports Sciences of Nihon University and NTNU’s College of Sports and Recreation have enjoyed a long-standing partnership marked by meaningful exchanges and mutual growth. We look forward to expanding our collaboration and creating more opportunities for cultural and academic interaction between our faculty members and students.
