Visit from Dr. Ik Young Chang, Korea National Sport UniversityThanks to the kind introduction from Professor Tien-Chin Tan of the Graduate Institute of Sport, Leisure and Hospitality Management, Dean Tzyy-Yuang Shiang had the pleasure of meeting with Dr. Ik Young Chang from Korea National Sport University.
Dr. Chang is a professor specializing in Sociology of Sport, and also serves as the Dean of the Office of Planning & Evaluation and the Director of the Korean Institute for Olympic Studies. In addition, he leads project on the public sport clubs in Korea funded by National Research Foundation of Korea.
Although his visit was brief, Dr. Chang had a delightful and insightful conversation with our faculty members, laying a solid foundation for future collaboration and academic exchange between our two institutions.
