Taiwanese Beach Volleyball player Hsieh Ya Jen and Wang Jin Ru had a good showing during the men’s final in Vizag Open India of FIVB Beach Volleyball World Tour.

The Taiwanese duo started from qualifying competitions, and only lost one game in the first seven matches to advance into the final. However, in the final against a German team, Wang was seized with a cramp, forcing the Taiwanese duo to retire. Wang said after the match, “The results have been big for us to remember, and from here, we will be heading to the next tournament, hoping we will work harder in future competitions and bring back a gold medal for Taiwan.”

Hsieh admitted that he was happy to get a silver medal but still feel pity that he didn’t finish the game. He thinks that there’s still room for them to improve and they have a bigger goal to achieve. Hsieh also thanks his supporters in Taiwan who cheered for them watching the live game.
