【Event Highlights】 Academic Exchange with Texas A&M University

🇺🇸On June 30, 2026, the College of Sports and Recreation welcomed a distinguished guest from Texas A&M University (TAMU).

Texas A&M University is the oldest public university in Texas and is widely recognized as one of the leading universities in the United States. The university was ranked 169th in the QS World University Rankings 2027. Its academic strengths are also reflected in the QS subject rankings, where both Sports-Related Subjects and Hospitality & Leisure Management were placed among the world’s top 51–100 programs.🤩

Introduced through NTNU Associate Vice President for Academic Affairs, Professor Wei-Ta Fang, this visit brought together Associate Dean Ching-Ping Lin, Director Po-Hsiu Lin of the Graduate Institute of Sport, Leisure and Hospitality Management, and Professor Po-Ju Chen from Texas A&M University for a productive and engaging discussion.🙌
Although the meeting was brief, both sides exchanged ideas on several promising areas of collaboration, including participation in the UAAT Program, which aims to strengthen partnerships with leading universities worldwide, as well as the possibility of establishing a dual-degree agreement. 📝

The College looks forward to building a long-term partnership with Texas A&M University through sustained academic exchange and collaborative research. By creating more opportunities for international mobility and cross-cultural learning, both institutions hope to deepen mutual understanding and establish a strong foundation for future cooperation.
