On January 23, 2026, the College of Sports and Recreation was delighted to welcome visiting delegations from Korea National Sport University, Duksung Women’s University, and Kyung Hee University. Faculty members from Taiwan and Korea engaged in warm and constructive exchanges, actively exploring opportunities for future collaboration.
The visit was thoughtfully arranged by Professor Mei-Yen Chen from the Graduate Institute of Sport, Leisure and Hospitality Management. A total of 40 faculty members and students from the three Korean universities participated in this visit. NTNU was represented by Prof. Yi-De Liu, Vice President for International Affairs; Prof. Tzyy-Yuang Shiang, Dean of the College of Sports and Recreation; Prof. Po-Hsiu Lin, Director; and Prof. Jen-Yu Ho, Chair, who warmly welcomed the delegation.
During the meeting, faculty members from both sides introduced their respective institutions, shared insights into their academic development, and exchanged ideas on potential collaboration across various professional fields.
In addition to today’s visit, the Korean delegation will also participate in the 2026 Taiwan–Korea International Sports Technology Forum, hosted by NTNU on January 24. This forum is expected to further enrich academic exchange and broaden the international perspectives of faculty and students alike.
The College of Sports and Recreation looks forward to continuing to strengthen academic ties between Taiwan and Korea and to fostering future joint research and meaningful cooperation with our partner institutions.
